Keystone Post Acute is a 65-bed community that offers exceptional skilled nursing care for seniors recovering from surgery, rehabilitating from a specific injury or trauma, or those in need of high acuity nursing care. Our highly trained team of nurses are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing general and specialized care to ensure a swift and complete recovery
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in respiratory care, with extensive experience in hospital and critical care environments. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory conditions across various settings, including emergency medicine, intensive care units, pediatrics, and outpatient clinics. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting clinical teams in high-pressure situations.
Shift Availability
- Full Time 10 Hour Shifts: Friday-Sunday and as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate respiratory function and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway management procedures.
- Operate and monitor Non Invasive ventilators such as BIPAP and CPAP in skilled nursing facility settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients with complex respiratory needs.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret physiological data to adjust therapies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, medication administration, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments administered, patient responses, and clinical observations in compliance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist with relevant state or national certification.
- Proven expertise in skilled nursing environments, including ventilator management and airway procedures.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pulmonology, and medical terminology related to respiratory health.
- Experience working within Level I and Level II trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, geriatrics, and pediatric populations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
