Member Duties : Committed to helping transform distressed neighborhood challenges into positive opportunities & has the energy/commitment to follow through on tasks. Professional skills needed include excellent research, organizational, & communication skills (oral & written), and understanding of government programs & community economic factors. Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & social media. Google mapping skills is a plus. Experience in organizational management & program development is a plus. Will work closely with the CEO/Board to perform the following: 1. Work to improve overall communication with community residents. 2. Significantly enhance outreach efforts; getting citizens motivated and involved. 3. Research government, private and public agencies for resources to expand TCR’s housing construction/renovation development. 4. Strengthen & build upon partnerships with entities that can support TCR’s goals, including its Greening & Urban Farming Initiatives.
