Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for the full-time overnight shift. The (LPN) will play a key role in delivering comprehensive care to clients in detox and residential treatment programs. Under the direction of the RN, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs nursing duties within the scope of practice in our detox and residential settings. This role includes medication administration, medical documentation, client education, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating the delivery of nursing care for clients in both detox and residential treatment settings. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, administering medications, supervising LPNs and support staff, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. The LPN will rotate on-call shifts, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with medical and counseling teams to support individualized treatment plans. Additional duties include chart audits, training new nursing staff, participating in committees, and serving as a leadership presence in the absence of the Director of Nursing. The LPN must be able to manage co-occurring client conditions and contribute to a safe, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications:
Required:
- · Active LPN license in the state of New Jersey
- · Knowledge of chemical dependency and 12 Step programs
- · 2 years clean/sober (if in recovery)
- · Valid NJ driver’s license
- · Computer literacy preferred
Preferred:
- · Experience in detox or behavioral health facility
- · Knowledge of chemical dependency and 12-step programs
Work Schedule:
- · Full-Time
- · 3 shifts per week
- · Overnight shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- · Rotating on-call responsibilities after orientation
Physical & Compliance Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, and carry up to 20 lbs
- Must meet visual/hearing and communication standards
- Must comply with HR and OSHA standards
