Comfort Inn Carlisle is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests by following high-quality housekeeping standards. Weekends are required as it is our busiest time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of trash and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Ensure guest privacy and adhere to hotel security policies.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage is a plus.
