Job description
The Warehouse Technician will ensure the accuracy of inventory as well as being accountable for all materials coming into and going out of the warehouse.
The main responsibilities are
- Receive, organize and account for all materials
- Help prepare for major material mobilizations
- Pull job-specific materials from inventory
- Stage vehicles and jobs with the appropriate materials and equipment
- Take accurate counts of material and manage inventory using inventory management software
- Communicate daily with field and office staff
- Operate heavy equipment including a forklift
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety and security of the warehouse
Qualifications
- Experience working in the solar industry
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge in computers including Excel and Word
- Familiar with inventory tracking software
- Ability to interpret packing slips
- Ability to operate heavy machinery, including having experience as a forklift operator
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to reliably report to work on time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
