thriveMD is seeking a full time Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! MA's perform routine clinical tasks to assist our Registered Nurses and physician in order to keep thriveMD running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and check vital signs upon arrival
- Tend to patients as they receive therapies
- Clinical tasks to support medical staff such as fill syringes, prepare IV bags and injections, assist with therapies, organize, stock of nurse area/medical trays and more.
- Assist patients with all auxiliary therapies (Hyperbaric Chamber, Cryotherapy, HOCATT sauna, Red Light Bed, Bemer Mat, EWOT, Infrared Sauna, Emsculpt Neo)
- Administer injections (Vitamin B12 and D)
- Perform blood draws (not required)
- Process paperwork for blood draws and lab tests
- Assist with cleaning of equipment and patient rooms as needed
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Phlebotomy skills, a plus but not required
- Superb patient interaction & care
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills
Shift Hours:
Flexible: 4 shifts during the week (8:45am - 6:30pm), plus 1-2 Saturdays (8:45am - 3:30pm) per month.
Paid Time Off:
7 days PTO. PTO rolls over annually and increases with tenure.
