Ophthalmic Technician Position – Fast-Paced Ophthalmology Practice
We are seeking a motivated ophthalmic technician to join our busy, fast-paced ophthalmology practice. On-the-job training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates eager to learn and grow in ophthalmic care.
Primary duties include performing preliminary testing such as topography, IOL Master, visual field testing, OCT, specular microscopy, and fundus photography. Additional responsibilities include measuring intraocular pressure (IOP), recording visual acuities, obtaining and documenting a detailed chief complaint, and preparing patients for evaluation by the physician.
This position is primarily based at our Houston location, which is conveniently located near Cypress. Occasional travel to our Woodlands office may be required if the need arises, though this will be infrequent.
Hourly compensation will be based on experience. Serious inquiries only, please.
