Job Brief:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Program Governance Lead to join our Financial Services consulting team working on mission critical Data, Information and Regulatory Management programs at one of our multinational investment banking clients. As a Consultant, you will work on-site at our client as part of a cohesive consulting team and have interactions with senior stakeholders in addition to opportunities to own deliverables.
The Program Governance lead will be a part of the Enterprise Program Management Office or will report to a specific business line (i.e., Risk, Finance, Compliance, Data Management, Information Governance/Records Management). The mandate is to maintain all aspects of the program governance on a weekly basis, including updating detailed program plans, RAID logs, working group decks, steerco materials, weekly status reports, and budget vs. actuals.
Responsibility:
Key responsibilities include:
Reporting weekly status reports, maintenance of the RAID log and detailed program plans, and running working groups in support of the overall program
Tracking of actual spend against approved estimated budget
Escalation of emerging program level risks and issues to the Enterprise Program Management team
Providing appropriate information share and updates with senior management, Head Office, and other key stakeholders
Milestone delivery oversight of program and project level resources including those provided by 3 rd party providers
Requirements:
Significant experience and track record of delivery of major initiatives at large and complex financial institutions. This includes how to structure major initiatives, project planning, budgeting and resource allocation
Exceptional stakeholder management skills including experience at performing this across multiple functions, committees, and areas
Experience working on data-intensive, information governance and regulatory projects
Strong capital markets experience and deep understanding of front to back processes as well as risk and finance concepts
Strong knowledge and experience in change management
Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven experience of team leadership in the program and change management space
Superior communication skills: both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff
Salary Range: $120k-$200k/year
