About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in MIG welding to craft high-quality metal components, ensuring that every piece meets precise technical specifications and contributes to our overall manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities-
Configure welding machinery and select appropriate materials to optimize production efficiency.

Interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics to guide the fabrication of metal structures.

Execute high-quality MIG welds across various positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead orientations.

Verify the integrity of finished welds through rigorous inspection to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Perform routine preventative maintenance on welding equipment to minimize downtime.

Uphold a secure and organized workspace by strictly following established safety protocols and utilizing required PPE.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 2 years of professional MIG welding experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.

Strong manual dexterity and high attention to detail.

Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks in a demanding shop environment.

Solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations and workplace hazard prevention.

High school diploma or equivalent certification.

Experience with precision measurement tools like tape measures.

Proven ability to perform independent welding setups for production runs.
