American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a combined Med/Surg and eICU position requiring comfort with both patient populations and current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Hospital-based Med/Surg and eICU combined unit
-
Day shift: three 12-hour shifts per week (6:30am–7:00pm)
-
Every 4th weekend required
-
Every other holiday rotation required
-
Must be comfortable caring for both Med/Surg and eICU patients
-
13-week contract
-
Active WI RN license or compact license currently in hand
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
PALS encouraged
-
Minimum two-year nursing degree required; BSN preferred

Comfortable with both Med/Surg and eICU patient populations
-
Intermediate computer proficiency required
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with repetitive movement including pulling, pushing, reaching, and stooping
-
DOB and SSN required for consideration
-
Responsibilities include individualized patient assessment, care planning, medication administration (including IV therapy), and patient/family education
-
Must respond appropriately to life-threatening situations per nursing standards and protocol
-
Proficiency in EMR documentation and order verification required
-
Strong communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills essential

Collaborative care model with delegation to and coordination with other health team members
