What You'll Do
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems
- Perform thorough system evaluations
- Identify the root cause of HVAC problems
- Repair and service residential heating and cooling equipment
- Clearly explain findings to homeowners
- Present repair, upgrade, and replacement options
- Educate customers on comfort, efficiency, reliability, and system performance
- Help homeowners make informed decisions without high-pressure tactics
- Work with field leadership on larger repair and replacement opportunities
- Maintain accurate job documentation
- Deliver a professional, 5-star customer experience on every call
Who We're Looking For
You should have:
- 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Confidence communicating with homeowners
- The ability to present multiple solutions clearly
- A strong understanding of residential HVAC systems
- A competitive, goal-oriented mindset
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
You don't need to be a pushy salesperson.
You do need to be able to identify problems, communicate value, give homeowners options, and confidently ask for the work.
Compensation
This is a performance-based, commission-driven position with uncapped earning potential.
Compensation opportunities include:
