About the Role
Anchor Minds is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in EL Paso, TX as a 1099 independent contractor. This is a full-time contract opportunity offering the autonomy of independent practice with the backing of a supportive clinical network.
What You'll Do
- Direct and deliver comprehensive care, from dTMS/TMS to medication and psychotherapeutic treatment, tailored to each patient's mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management
- Provide psychotherapy and/or coordinate care with therapists and counselors
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care coordinators to ensure whole-person care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management
What We're Looking For
- Active, unencumbered PMHNP-BC certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Experience diagnosing and treating a range of psychiatric conditions
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
- Comfortable managing the responsibilities of independent contractor status (own liability coverage, taxes, etc., as applicable)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
