Duties

- Assist bakers with preparing donuts, kolaches, rolls, and other baked products.
- Prepare ingredients, fillings, icings, and toppings for daily production.
- Cut, shape, portion, and organize dough as directed by the baker.
- Help package and organize finished products for display and storage.
- Wash, sanitize, and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, trays, and workstations.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
- Receive, organize, rotate, and store ingredients using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Support the production team during busy periods and complete additional duties assigned by management.
Skills
- Experience assisting with donut and kolache production.
- Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment and kitchen tools.
- Knowledge of inventory organization and ingredient storage.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced food production environment.
- Basic knowledge of bakery operations, food preparation, and kitchen sanitation.
- Understanding of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work early morning, overnight, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Pay: $8.00 - $13.00 per hour
