Job Description & Essential Functions of Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, demo equipment inspection, and staff supervision. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient workflows, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards, and serving as a liaison with Absen HQ. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to coordinate with HQ/Manufacturing on shipments and inventory matters.
Essential Functions
- Oversees daily warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all operations
- Supervises the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, materials, and demo equipment
- Conducts demo equipment inspection before shipments for training, tradeshows, and customer demos, ensuring functionality and quality standards are met
- Maintains inventory accuracy by monitoring SAP records, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing controls
- Performs and oversees regular inventory counts (cycle counts and full counts) to ensure records align with physical stock
- Tracks warehouse inventory using SAP and prepares regular reports for management and HQ
- Coordinates with HQ/Manufacturing on shipments, purchase orders, and inventory tracking
- Works closely with Technical Service and Receiving departments to ensure timely processing of returns, RMAs, and supplies
- Picks, packs, and verifies orders, ensuring compliance with packing guidelines
- Operates forklift and other equipment to access and move materials as needed
- Traces and follows up on delayed shipments to resolve issues quickly
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates warehouse staff to ensure high performance and accountability
- Assigns daily tasks and monitors workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Leads team meetings to communicate priorities, safety updates, and performance goals
- Provides coaching, problem-solving, and conflict resolution as needed
- Ensures warehouse policies, safety regulations, and procedures are understood and followed by all staff
- Strives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes
- Serves as primary point of contact between Warehouse, Technical Service, and HQ
- Prepares correspondence, documents, and reports as directed by management
- Responds to calls and emails related to warehouse functions or forwards them to the appropriate department
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consecutively
Education & Experience Requirements
- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- AA or Bachelors' degree preferred
- Minimum 3+ years in previous administrative role
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- SAP experience preferred
- Fluent Mandarin speaker
- Forklift certified preferred
Language Requirements
- Must be able to understand, speak, and write English language
- Must be able to understand, speak, and write Chinese language
Work Location
- Orlando warehouse and office
- Required to work set business open hours
Travel Requirements
- May be required to drive to complete tasks
- Must have a valid drivers' license
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
