Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and managing all human resources functions across multiple Roto Mix locations. This position serves as a strategic business partner to management while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The Human Resources Manager oversees employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation administration, benefits, training, policy development, workplace investigations, safety coordination, and compliance initiatives.
The HR Manager plays a critical role in supporting organizational growth, workforce development, employee engagement, and operational excellence throughout the organization's multi-site manufacturing and distribution operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and administer human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors on employee relations and workforce matters.
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Promote a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture.
- Monitor and recommend improvements to HR processes and systems.
- Investigate employee complaints, workplace concerns, and policy violations.
- Conduct workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, safety concerns, and other employee issues.
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding corrective action and performance management.
- Assist management with conflict resolution and employee coaching.
- Ensure consistent application of Company policies and practices.
- Oversee recruiting efforts for all locations.
- Develop and implement sourcing and retention strategies.
- Coordinate hiring processes, interviews, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification requirements.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Administer compensation programs and wage structures.
- Assist with salary administration, market analysis, and compensation planning.
- Oversee employee benefits administration, enrollment, and employee communications.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment activities.
- Serve as a liaison with benefit providers and brokers.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
- Monitor changes in employment laws and recommend policy updates as needed.
- Manage unemployment claims, agency responses, and employment-related audits.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
- Support OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
- Develop and facilitate management and employee training programs.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives.
- Ensure completion of required compliance training.
- Promote employee engagement and professional development opportunities.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Multi-Site HR Operations
- Provide HR support to multiple Company locations.
- Travel between facilities as necessary to support operations and employees.
- Maintain consistency in HR practices across all locations.
- Build relationships with managers and employees throughout the organization.
- Support organizational growth, acquisitions, and workforce transitions as needed.
HR Administration
- Maintain HRIS, personnel files, and employment records.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
- Manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, military leave, and other protected leaves.
- Oversee employee handbook updates and policy administration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive human resources experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of HR leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, industrial, agricultural equipment, or distribution industry experience.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with workforce planning and organizational development.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and communicate for extended periods.
- Ability to travel regularly between Company locations.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to conduct facility walkthroughs in manufacturing and warehouse environments.
Work Environment
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments. The Human Resources Manager will regularly interact with employees, supervisors, managers, executives, vendors, and government agencies. Travel between multiple facilities will be required.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
