Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Detailer/Lot Person to join our automotive team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of vehicles on our lot. Your enthusiasm for vehicle care and customer service will help ensure each vehicle is showcased at its best, creating a positive experience for customers and supporting the dealership’s reputation for quality. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and using cleaning equipment to ensure vehicles are spotless and well-presented.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore shine and remove minor surface imperfections.
- Detail vehicle interiors thoroughly, including vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a fresh appearance.
- Operate standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles safely within the lot for movement or test drives as needed.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness on the lot by regularly inspecting and cleaning vehicles to uphold high presentation standards.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling equipment or moving vehicles around the lot.
- Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper use of cleaning equipment and adherence to safety protocols in the auto detailing facility.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in auto detailing or working at an auto detailing facility is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of standard passenger car operation and manual transmission driving is advantageous.
- Familiarity with vehicle paint correction, buffing, and automotive cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various cleaning equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
- Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors or in a garage setting with a proactive attitude toward vehicle care.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
