American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position at an outpatient ambulatory surgery center in the Akron, OH area, requiring a minimum of 18 months of PACU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting with a dedicated PACU unit
-
Outpatient patient population — all patients are discharged home the same day
-
Procedures include joint, hand, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, and a full range of orthopedic cases

Monday–Friday day shift schedule, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Shift end time may extend if a patient is not ready for discharge

No on-call requirements

Epic EMR used for charting

13-week contract

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 18 months of PACU experience required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Epic charting experience required

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to outpatient surgical patients across a broad range of procedure types

Travelers who have previously worked at any Cleveland Clinic location must have a minimum 6-month gap before beginning a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic facility

Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
