Job Description
· Deliver product to customers daily in the Metro and surrounding areas
· Compliance with speed limits and state trucking operation laws
· Friendly and positive attitude with customers and the Bergin Team
· Maintain a professional appearance wearing a Bergin Fruit Co identification at all times
· Attention to details, reporting customer issues and concerns to the Warehouse Department Manager immediately
· Maintain truck cab cleanliness and external cleaning as instructed
· Complete required delivery paperwork promptly (pre-trip inspection log, maintenance requests, return authorizations, invoices).
· Attention to safety procedures and safety awareness policies within the department as outlined in the Bergin Fruit and Nut Co Employee Handbook.
Warehouse duties
· Perform other tasks as directed by Warehouse Manager
Qualifications
· Box truck driving experience
· High school graduate or equivalent
· Reliable work experience
· Valid Driver’s License without restrictions
· Background and Drug test
· Completion of a truck driving course or certification, a plus
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs
· Experience using a two-wheeler delivering up to 250lbs possibly up/down steps
· Experience using an electric pallet mover, training provided
· Experience and/or certification using a fork lift, not required
· Signature required Bergin Fruit Co, Non-disclosure and Non-solicitation Agreement and Employee Handbook
