Compensation:
- Competitive hourly pay rate range of $20-35/hr depending on experience, skills and qualifications
- Premium pay for travel and field work on top of hourly rate
- Daily per diem allowance while travelling

If you are a valve technician who enjoys hands-on field work, solving mechanical problems on-site, and taking pride in getting critical equipment back into service, this role is for you.
We are looking for a Field Service Valve Technician to support valve repair and service work in the field and in the shop. You will troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, calibrate, and test safety relief valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and documentation.
- Perform inspection, teardown, repair, assembly, calibration, and testing of valves and actuators
- Diagnose failures and recommend the proper repair scope
- Complete field service work safely and ensure repairs meet applicable code and customer requirements
- Document repair, testing, and service activity in real time using photos, reports, and work order records
- Maintain field service equipment, tooling, trucks, and trailers in ready-to-work condition
- Support inventory, final inspection, packaging, shipping, and general shop operations
- Help maintain strong housekeeping, 5S, and safety standards
- Mechanical associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with valve repair, testing, troubleshooting, or rotating/mechanical equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team
- Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft 365
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-hours as needed
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding field and shop environments
- Hands-on field work with real technical responsibility
