Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Leader (ADON / Clinical Care Leader) for a 13-week travel assignment at a highly respected, 128-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility located in Mandan, ND. Designed with a modern, neighborhood-style structure divided into four distinct 32-bed units, this post-acute care setting focuses on delivering high-quality individualized care, rehabilitation, and long-term support.
Compensation & Shift Details
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2,826.00 (based on 40 hours)
- Regular Pay Rate: $39.50/hr ($1,580.00 total taxable wages)
- Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,246.00
- Overtime Pay Rate: $67.00/hr (Overtime available)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Work Schedule: 5x8s | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Work Week: Sunday through Saturday
- On-Call / Weekend Rotation: On-call coverage every 5th weekend
- Holiday Rotation: TBD as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the complete nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to direct individualized resident care.
- Assume overall nursing accountability for resident assignments and oversee nursing workflows within the unit.
- Effectively delegate tasks to, supervise, and mentor unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Collaborate with inter-professional care teams to continuously update and evaluate care plans.
- Accurately document resident histories, symptoms, medications, and treatments in compliance with state and federal healthcare standards.
- Participate in leadership roles, department task forces, and facility operational committees.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN Leader, Unit Manager, or ADON in an LTC/SNF setting.
- Certifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Licensure: Valid RN License eligible to practice in North Dakota.
- Degree: BSN preferred, but not required.
- EHR System: Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) charting software.
- RAI Process: Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process experience is a plus (preferred, not required).
Facility Policies & Candidate Guidelines
- Traveler Radius Policy: Candidates must reside outside an 80-mile radius from the facility location to qualify for traveler stipends.
- Orientation: Hands-on facility orientation provided upon start.
- Cancellation Policy: Standard terms apply.
