Truck Yard is a dive-ish bar garden with a huge backyard, live music and food trucks where everyones invited (and their furry buddies, too.)? With lots of heavily shaded outdoor space, food trucks on rotation, a kitchen slinging the best cheesesteaks in town, signature drinks, and multiple bars where youd least expect it (think tree house, ferris wheel, etc), theres no place quite like Truck Yard.??
DESCRIPTION
Do you know how to fix thingamabobs, doodads and whatchamacallits? Were looking for a Handyman / Handyperson / Handyhumanoid to keep things in tip top shape! As the Handyman, youll be hired to perform upkeep, general repair and maintenance for our backyard paradise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform minor maintenance replacement and repairs in areas of carpentry, minor electrical work, minor plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other building repairs through scheduled work orders
Examples of Repairs: Grout, Tile Floors, Walls, Rotted Wood, Ceilings, Decks, Doors, Drywall, Siding, Gutters
Examples of Maintenance: Sinks, Drains, Caulking, Doors, Decks, Fences, Gutter Cleaning, Locksets Deadbolts, Windows, Screens, Furniture, Fixtures
Carpentry: Cabinets, Countertops, Molding, Trim, Shelving, Ramps, Railings
Other: Pressure Washing, Weatherproofing, Tile Work, Assembly, Painting, Minor Plumbing and other duties as assigned.
Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work
Maintain positive working relationship with location staff
Inspect and identify areas that need repairs and advise manager
Complete work orders as scheduled
Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition
Properly perform casual labor, such as lifting/moving heavy items as directed by management and following appropriate safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate clearly with management
Strong problem-solving skills
Organized and self-disciplined to complete work with maximum efficiency
Must have reliable transportation
Must be eligible to work in the United States
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
Truck Yard does not permit any employee to consume alcohol at any Brain Storm Shelter Restaurant location, whether on- or off-duty.?
All employees are required to follow all local and state laws regarding the sale service of alcohol.
Employees are expected to wash their hands frequently during shifts and after all breaks.?
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Position requires working a full shift on your feet.
Position requires working in hot conditions as the grills put off significant heat
Position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions when getting additional supplies
All employees must practice good personal hygiene to prevent food-borne illnesses create a clean working environment
Position may require work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operation of phones, computers and other office equipment.
