About the Position: Armstrong Teasdale is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its HR team. This role plays a vital part in supporting business professional recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and professional development. As a key support role on the Human Resources team, this position is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, and well-organized personnel records for all Firm employees and for handling sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion at all times. - Supports scheduling and organizing interviews for all business professional hiring processes;
- Coordinate & facilitate onsite interviews through conference room reservations, team preparation, and greeting candidates;
- Maintains integrity of data within applicant tracking system, and all HR information systems;
- Assist in coordinating assimilation plans for all new hires to ensure a seamless transition by providing a welcoming and educational experience
- Assist with pre-employment procedures by reviewing & filing new hires completed onboarding documents;
- Supports professional development initiatives across the Firm including our mentoring program, new hire connections, and new hire check-in support;
- Assists with maintaining compliance with Firm policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws; escalates issues to HR leadership as appropriate; and
- Supports HR with implementation of enhancements.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Data driven and client facing office experience
- Experience providing timely, accurate, and professional support while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Effectively communicates through written and verbal forms; shares information when asked and understands the appropriate level of confidentiality
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work; consistently meets deadlines and maintains organized records.
- Alignment to Firm values and consistently demonstrates them; is aware of the meaning/strategic goal of the Firm's Diversity and Inclusion values; has a deep understanding of one's own core functions
