Duties
- Operate and drive company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to maintain client properties
- Install and repair irrigation systems, ensuring optimal water distribution for healthy landscapes
- Conduct tree care activities including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth
- Assist with construction projects such as installing hardscapes or planting beds while adhering to project specifications
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation
- Support team training on safety procedures, landscape techniques, and customer service standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service that exceeds expectations
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or horticulture with a strong understanding of gardening principles
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings preferred
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and pest management
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with tree care practices such as pruning or removal is a plus
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and small machinery
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and promote a collaborative work environment
- Strong commitment to safety standards and equipment maintenance practices
