We are a licensed legal retail cannabis dispensary in Bayside Queens. We are dedicated to providing exceptional products and services to our valued customers. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Bud-tenders to join our team. As a Bud-tender, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers, sharing cannabis expertise, and ensuring a positive and educational experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, dosage forms, and consumption methods.
- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable products based on their preferences and needs.
- Accurately process sales transactions and maintain cash register operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment, ensuring stations and product displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and regulations to provide accurate information to customers.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory guidelines, including age verification and product tracking protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand cannabis knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in New York.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications related to cannabis is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
- Knowledge and passion for cannabis, including strains, terpenes, and consumption methods.
- Familiarity with cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and accessories.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an approachable and understandable manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive customer information.
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.
