Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled with food safety in mind
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza options and seasonal specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Requirements
- Prior experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles preferred, with knowledge of food handling standards
- Proven culinary experience, especially in pizza preparation or fine dining environments
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Experience in restaurant or kitchen settings within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers
