Job Summary
Suzanna’s Kitchen is a medium sized manufacturer with two facilities in national distribution of fully cooked/frozen food products in North Georgia (Metro Atlanta area). We are looking for a Portioning Supervisor who already knows how to run portioning equipment and can step in without a learning curve. This role is for someone with real hands on experience with JBT DSI systems and Marel I Cut equipment. If you have not worked directly with portioning, this will not be the right fit.
This position will lead portioning operations on the floor, drive yield, and ensure product is running to spec every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily portioning operations and hold the team accountable to safety quality and performance standards.
- Run and support JBT DSI and Marel I Cut systems including setup adjustments and troubleshooting
- Drive yield and minimize giveaway through proper setup and active monitoring
- Verify weights specs and portion accuracy throughout the shift.
- Lead and develop operators and ensure they understand the why behind portioning standards.
- Partner with QA and Maintenance to resolve issues quickly and keep the line running.
- Support startups changeovers and overall execution on the floor.
Qualifications
- Direct hands on experience with JBT DSI and Marel I Cut equipment is required.
- Strong understanding of portioning yield and weight control.
- Previous leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and make real time decisions on the floor.
- Strong communication and leadership presence.

Education and / or Experience
2-4 years experience as a production supervisor in food manufacturing environment.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
