Caring Bees Healthcare is quickly expanding, and we are hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services to our clients in the Boston and Greater Boston areas.
We care for patients of all ages and backgrounds who may require therapy visits in their homes.
Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to CMS guidelines by providing initial and ongoing assessments to determine the level of functioning, including OASIS assessment at appropriate time points.
- Gathers background data, reviews referrals, selects and modifies evaluation tools, and evaluates patients determining the level of patient’s physical and psychosocial functioning.
- Develop and revise the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care team members.
- Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of an assigned caseload.
- Preparing clinical progress notes and evaluating outcomes.
- Supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.
- Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for the installation of adaptive equipment.
Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Physical Therapy (PT) Examiners.
- Experience in acute care settings or Home Health is preferred but not required.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality about protected and sensitive information.
- Must be able to solve problems independently and confidently by applying analytical and logical thinking.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret reports, general business directives, policy and procedure statements, and governmental regulations.
- Able to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.
- Able to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying educational levels.
- New Physical Therapist graduates are encouraged to apply
- Able to complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Must have a criminal background check
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Physical Therapist license (Required)
