Miller Service Company has an immediate opportunity for an, intelligent, reliable, energetic team player to help lead our HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication shop. Everything we fabricate is custom built and engineered to the exact specifications of our builder customers and homeowners.
We are looking for a career-minded person interested in building something meaningful with a company that has been setting the standard in DFW for quality HVAC installations since 1967.
Job Summary:
- Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal parts using various tools and equipment, including:
- CNC Operation / Programming
- Box brake
- Pittsburg machine
- MIG Welding
- Spot Welding
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and form sheet metal to desired specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliability and professionalism – suit up and show up every day with the right attitude
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in sheet metal fabrication is preferred
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid Driver License
