Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans including diagnosis, treatment strategies and follow-up care tailored to each child's needs.
- Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications including injectable treatments
- Educate families on health maintenance, disease prevention, medication administration and developmental milestones using clear communication strategies.
- Utilize of Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records management and coding using ICD-10/CPT standards.
- Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation.
- Experience in telehealth platforms to deliver remote pediatric consultations confidently.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatrics and physiology knowledge essential for accurate patient assessment.
- Capable of performing diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory testing when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to educate families about treatment plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
