Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clients laboratory team in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Location: Wellesley, MA 02481
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection in accordance with established procedures.
- Properly identify patients and accurately label specimens.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory processing and testing.
- Provide professional and compassionate service to patients throughout the collection process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality procedures.
- Accurately document required patient and specimen information.
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to support efficient daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited or recognized phlebotomy program.
- Phlebotomy certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide excellent patient and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Previous healthcare or laboratory experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required.
