General Summary
The Financial Aid Officer works closely with Admissions to help students understand the financial aid process and apply for various types of aid to cover tuition and fees.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide a timely overview of the financial aid process to prospective students and their families in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable federal, state regulations, and all accrediting agencies' standards and requirements.
· Performs job duties while acting in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable federal, state regulations, and all accrediting agencies' standards and requirements.
· Conduct regular financial aid workshops for all new students and parents.
· Prepare a financial aid estimate for the student.
· Assist families in completing all required applications for aid in compliance with federal, and state regulations and guidelines.
· Develop an affordable tuition plan for the student.
· Prepare, collect and track all required financial aid documents.
· Complete verification and resolve C-codes as applicable.
· Review the file for accuracy and completeness.
· Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of an Associate Degree.
· Strong orientation toward high-volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive business operations.
· Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment.
· Previous educational experience is desirable.
· Experience in awarding Title IV preferred.
· Knowledgeable of all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable federal, state regulations, and all accrediting agencies' standards and requirements relating to financial aid.
