Experienced Equipment Operator (Class A CDL Required)
ARC Total Property Solutions is hiring TWO experienced Equipment Operators to join our growing team based in Maryville, Tennessee.
We are an excavation and property services company serving Blount County, Knox County, Loudon County, and surrounding areas. Our work includes excavation, grading, land clearing, forestry mulching, drainage, utility work, demolition, storm cleanup, and snow & ice management.
Position Overview
We are looking for dependable, experienced operators who take pride in their work, show up on time, work safely, and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on position that involves operating heavy equipment, hauling equipment and materials, job site preparation, grading, and assisting with a variety of excavation and land management projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform grading, excavation, drainage, and site preparation work
- Haul equipment and materials using trucks and trailers
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Assist with land clearing, forestry mulching, and demolition projects
- Follow safety procedures and maintain clean job sites
- Work with crew members to complete projects efficiently and professionally
- Assist with snow and ice management operations during winter weather events
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL REQUIRED
- Ability to drive manual transmission trucks
- Minimum 5 years of excavation/operator experience
- Experience with grading, drainage, and site prep
- Ability to safely load, secure, and haul equipment
- Dependable transportation
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Experience hauling with lowboy and gooseneck trailers
- Forestry mulching experience
- Chainsaw and tree felling experience
