We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic environment at all times
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent in-person customer service
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth breakfast service throughout the shift
- Adhere to manual handling guidelines when lifting or moving food items and supplies, maintaining safety at all times
Skills
- Prior experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory
- Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus but not required
- Experience with POS systems and handling weight in the workplace ensures smooth operations
- Culinary experience or catering background enhances ability to deliver high-quality breakfast offerings
- Familiarity with food industry standards, hospitality practices, and food handling regulations
