Low Voltage Technician –
We are hiring a Low Voltage Technician to support installations focused on Access Control, CCTV, Security Systems, Structured Cabling, or Audio/Video.
This is a hands-on field role working under project leads. You will be responsible for installing devices, running cable, and completing projects on-site.
This position requires heavy travel (75%+ nationwide). Candidates must be comfortable being on the road regularly.Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do
- Pull, label, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Pull and route low-voltage conductor cable (18/2, 18/4, 22/4, etc.)
- Build, organize, and dress network and low-voltage equipment racks
- Punch down patch panels and terminate data jacks/faceplates
- Install, terminate, and test data outlets and workstation drops
- Install cabling for access control, CCTV, audio/AV, and other low-voltage systems
- Wire and terminate access control panels/controllers
- Install and terminate field devices (card readers, door contacts, REX devices, cameras, speakers, etc.)
- Assist with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Mount devices, enclosures, equipment racks, cable supports, and J-hooks
- Read blueprints, floor plans, and installation drawings
- Take installation photos and complete daily job notes
- Check in daily with the Project Manager for updates and direction
What You Need
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial low-voltage installation experience
- Experience pulling, labeling, terminating, and testing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Experience building equipment racks, punching down patch panels, and terminating data jacks
- Experience installing access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems
- Basic understanding of PoE, IP devices, and structured cabling standards
- Experience operating scissor lifts and/or boom lifts (certification preferred)
- Comfortable working on active commercial construction sites and at heights
- Must be willing to travel 75%+ nationwide
- Valid driver's license required
- Conduit is a plus
