Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Also, the ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering high-quality pizza to our valued customers, including school cafeterias and catering events. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and warehouse tasks as needed. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport goods.
- Ability to drive your own vehicle for deliveries or our delivery vehicle, if available.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of pizzas to customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and insurance with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving, courier services, or similar roles preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 30 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Previous experience in pizza delivery or restaurant service is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
