INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work at the school.
JOB SUMMARY:
This temporary position assists the bus driver in providing safe transportation for students with special needs to and from the school and their authorized bus stop location. This includes providing for students with special needs, assisting students on and off the bus, and securing students in wheelchair and child safety restraint systems. This position complies with School Division policies and regulations; Transportation Department oral and written instructions; and state and/or federal laws. Duration of assignment is dependent on program needs and availability of funding.
