Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated CDL driver to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on safety, deliver excellent customer service, and strictly follow traffic laws and transportation regulations. This role involves operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles, ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures, and keeping accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and safety checks. The driver will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations across various job sites while upholding safety standards and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including transporting heavy equipment to different locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily routes.
- Respond effectively to traffic changes, road hazards, or emergencies using established procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections before and after trips, checking brakes, lights, tires, and safety equipment.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and team members; multilingual skills are a plus.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo safely, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, incidents, vehicle maintenance, and adhere to company policies.
- Handle emergencies or traffic issues calmly while maintaining professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Ability to respond quickly to traffic changes or emergencies while remaining professional.
Proven responsibility and a safety-conscious attitude in operating commercial vehicles
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
