Summary
As a Grocery Merchandiser at Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co of Central VA, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are well-presented and available to meet customer demand. This position is essential for maintaining strong relationships with retailers and enhancing our brand visibility in the market.
Responsibilities
- Implement planograms to ensure effective product placement and merchandising strategies.
- Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with our awesome Pepsi products.
- Display Pepsi signage to promote the current sales programs.
- Keep our area in the back room neat and orderly
- Communicate with store management and Pepsi teammates.
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with store management.
- Adhere to Pepsi's daily operating procedures.
- Rotate all products.
- Use supplied equipment to maneuver products throughout the store (e.g., carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Manage inventory levels and restock products as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with store management to promote sales initiatives and enhance product visibility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of product displays in retail locations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
- Ability to read and implement planograms accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must submit to a drug screen and background check
- Maneuver 20-45 lbs. of product repeatedly throughout the work period
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
