Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The HVAC Installer will work with a variety of equipment and must possess mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to design effective HVAC solutions for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with potentially hazardous materials and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, including installation and troubleshooting of various components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Skills in welding or fabrication are a plus for custom installations or repairs.
- A valid driver's license is typically required for travel between job sites.
