Job Summary
Ignite your management skills and drive operational excellence as a Senior Production Manager! In this dynamic role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that manufacturing activities run efficiently, and safely. Your proactive approach will coordinate teams, and uphold quality standards to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
- Lead and motivate production teams, providing clear guidance, training, and support to maximize productivity.
- Monitor hardwood material quality/process audits on processes, analyzing production data, including productivity and downtime,
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures at all times.
- Assess process yields, analysis of process scrap (e.g., characteristics of discarded or “wasted” wood), and implement corrective action if needed.
- Coordinate with planning team and maintenance teams to guarantee maximum productivity and prevent equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for tracking performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold product standards and address any issues swiftly.
Requirements
- 3 years experience in managing staff and processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong management skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control standards.
- Ability to analyze data, optimize workflows, and implement process improvements confidently.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating across departments and reporting to senior management.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred with a solid understanding of statistics, data analysis and mathematics. Experience in lumber, forestry, etc. is a plus but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
