Pay: $60K-75K Base
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee employee training, workforce development, and operational support across multiple warehouse locations. This role is responsible for developing and delivering training programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, certifying powered industrial truck (PIT) operators, and partnering with warehouse leadership to maintain a productive, well-trained workforce. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, bilingual in English and Spanish, with experience in logistics, staffing, and warehouse operations.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for warehouse employees across multiple locations.
- Partner with operations leadership to identify staffing and training needs and implement solutions that support business objectives.
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding for all employees.
- Evaluate candidates' powered industrial truck (PIT) operating skills as part of the hiring and certification process.
- Train and certify employees on powered industrial equipment, including:
- Sit-Down Forklifts
- Stand-Up Forklifts
- Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJ)
- Cherry Pickers
- Ensure all employees follow OSHA and company safety procedures during warehouse operations.
- Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and overall job performance.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, performance reviews, corrective action discussions, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Measure training effectiveness through performance metrics and continuous feedback, making improvements as needed.
- Work closely with warehouse management to ensure proper staffing levels and efficient workflow.
- Travel between multiple facility locations as needed.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding training progress, employee performance, and operational improvements.
- Previous experience in account management, warehouse operations, staffing, or logistics.
- Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.
- Certified or experienced in "Train-the-Trainer" methodologies preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating and training others on powered industrial trucks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
