EvolvedGen is an educational philosophy and community for raising conscious children — and the parents who raise them. We are building programs in Los Angeles inspired by the depth of Montessori and Waldorf, with a different focus: not academics, but life skills for a changing world.
This is not a traditional classroom teaching job. We are hiring a Youth Program Facilitator to guide extracurricular sessions for children ages 5 through 13 in the LACMA / Mid-Wilshire area. You will help kids understand the "game of life" — through discussion, games, movement, reflection, and interactive activities. No test scores. No standard school curriculum. No homework pressure.

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA — Mid-Wilshire / LACMA area (exact venue TBD)
EMPLOYMENT: Part-time to start, with potential to grow into full-time as programs expand
AGES SERVED: 5–13 (content adapted by age group)
WHAT YOU WILL FACILITATE
Children explore and practice life skills that schools rarely teach, including:
- Energy, frequency, and vibration (in language kids can feel and experience)
- Universal laws and how life works as a "game"
- Mindset — conscious and subconscious patterns
- Focus, attention, and discipline as trainable skills
- Goal-setting and follow-through
- Confidence, self-respect, and emotional intelligence
- Responsibility — to themselves, their choices, and their impact on others
Sessions are interactive: group discussions, activities, experiments, and play with purpose. You hold the room with warmth and structure. You meet children where they are developmentally. You care more about who they become than what they memorize.
PROGRAM FORMAT
- Weekly after-school sessions during the school year (primary offering)
- Workshops and seasonal camps
- Shared EvolvedGen method and session guides provided
- Founder-led training and alignment on philosophy and delivery
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You might be a teacher, coach, youth mentor, camp counselor, yoga or mindfulness instructor, therapist-in-training, or experienced parent-educator. What matters is who you are and how you show up with children — not only your job title.
Ideal candidates have:
- Genuine passion for helping the next generation grow into conscious, capable, kind humans
- Experience facilitating groups of children (not only one-on-one tutoring)
- A calm, grounded presence — you can hold attention without shouting or performing
- Openness to mindset, energy, universal principles, and inner work (expert level not required on day one; alignment and curiosity are)
- Strong integrity with children and parents — safety, clarity, and respect are non-negotiable
- Reliability and follow-through; we are building something long-term
This role is likely not the right fit if you:
- Want a traditional academic teaching role focused on grades and standardized outcomes
- Rely on high-pressure "hype" motivation tactics with children
- Struggle to hold boundaries or speak to children without talking down to them
