Job Responsibilities

Read electrical drawings and schematics
-
Wire and connect motors, VFSs, Control panels, PLC I/O, Sensors, safety devices, and related componenets

Perform electrical testing, point to point checks, phase verifications, motor rotation checks, trouble shooting, and pre energization inspections.

Verify wiring, labeling, and termination to prepare equipment for commissioning

Wire electrical outlets, receivers, and connectors
-
Connect wiring and electrical components to machinery

Assist with basic equipment testing and troubleshooting
-
Inspect wiring and connections for proper installation

Follow electrical diagrams, instructions, and project specifications
-
Maintain a clean and safe work area
-
Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
-
4+ years of previous electrical technician or industrial electrical experience is required

Experience wiring outlets, connectors, receivers, or machinery
-
Ability to identify and work with electrical components
-
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
-
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-
Reliable transportation to and from the Dayton jobsite

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

An electrical license is not required, but relevant hands-on electrical experience is required.
