Job Overview
Bottoms Engineering & Service, Inc. is hiring a full-time delivery driver. A Class A or B CDL driver's license is required. This position will require delivering materials to construction sites up to 5 days per week. Our territories include Kentucky, lower Indiana, and lower Ohio. During non-delivery times, the associate will assist with warehouse shipping, receiving, and material organization, as well as fabrication shop activities.
Duties
- Manage daily warehouse activities, loading and unloading inventory, order fulfillment, and safety compliance.
- Operate flat-bed trucks with manual and automatic transmissions
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and completed within the scheduled time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving items as required during warehouse operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities
Requirements
- Driver’s license must be in good standing.
- 2 years of truck driving experience and references must be available.
- 2 years of prior warehouse experience is required
- Ability to pass a driver’s medical physical, drug screen and FMCSA driver’s license background check
Pay: $26.00 per hour
