Job Summary
Be a part of our team here at Paws and Claws Pet Hospital! We are a small animal clinic and we do work with some pocket pets as well as exotics. PACPH opened in 2013 and we have been growing into a well known and loved practice in the Maple Grove area. We utilize laser surgery and our in-house diagnostic tools include the Opticell CBC machine, 2 VS2 analyzers, Imagyst scanner & Digital radiographs. We see a wide variety of cases here as we work with a number of rescues in the area so we are continuously learning.
We are seeking to add a Veterinary Technician to our team to work 4-4.5 days a week. We are looking for someone to help with reception duties, patient check-in, obtaining patient histories, filling prescriptions, restraint, obtaining lab samples and performing lab work, assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, monitoring anesthesia, and general cleaning tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Degree from an accredited program preferred
- Experience in the Veterinary field is a plus
- Must be hard working, willing to help entire team when needed
- Experience with Impromed Infinity is a plus
- Experience with reception is a plus
