Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and handling protocols.
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure dishes are visually appealing and served promptly.
- Collaborate with team members during busy service hours to deliver high-quality food efficiently.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage.
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment for everyone.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is a must, especially with high volume restaurants.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, handling practices, and sanitation procedures.
