Special Education Teacher
Phaxis Education is seeking several dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teachers to join a school team for the 2026–2027 school year. Opportunities are available in multiple age groups.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based reading interventions and differentiated instruction to support student growth.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on data and individual needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active CA Special Education Teaching Certification
