American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a night shift position in a hospital-based CT Scan department, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

CT Scan department within an acute care hospital setting
-
18-bed imaging unit staffed by radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs
-
Night shift staffing includes a charge RN, on-call team, and 3–4 techs depending on volume
-
Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
-
All GE equipment in use, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy; facility recently added a new 1.2 million dollar state-of-the-art CT scanner

EMR: Meditech (experience strongly preferred)

4x10 hour night shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months

ARRT (CT) and BLS required
-
License required if applicable

Experience with GE equipment strongly preferred

Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred

Two professional references required for Florida placements

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Procedures include CT scans, MRI, body scanning, and x-rays, with a focus on producing diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues

Candidates must possess strong communication, medical/anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to multitask and collaborate with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients

Facility is a certified comprehensive Stroke Center and recipient of the American Heart Association Gold Plus Achievement Award

Navy blue scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
