The ideal Warehouse Associate is an engaging team member who presents themselves and the company in a positive way. Confident and dynamic, this individual is a self-starter, thinker with an encouraging attitude.
This candidate will be required to have the ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Constantly exploring as there is always another goal to set and reach. This detail-oriented multi-tasker is hungry to seek more and takes an active role to help the company reach the next level with integrity and honesty.
The responsibilities and duties for this Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to, the following items:
- Processing orders that are identified as ready to ship (labeling/pallet building/pick and pack).
- Pre-build packages to company standards of presentation
- Prepping breast pumps to be shipment ready (over-boxing/inserting materials)
- Count inbound deliveries, documenting damages/shortages
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight (pallets and/or small packages)
- Building pallets from storage container deliveries in extreme conditions (palletizing products in large quantities).
- Help maintain inventory in pick and pack areas
- Participate in inventory counts when needed
- Operate Walkie Stackie/Forklift or be willing to become certified to operate same
- Navigates and uses various databases and applications
- Ensure that warehouse/work area is clean and organized.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and a commitment to success of the team
- Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with customers and co-workers as outlined in the company Core Values (listed below)
Specifications
Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with order entry and shipping procedures. Preferred working knowledge of UPS, Fedex, USPS and various shipping carriers.
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience preferred
- Microsoft office skills
- High School Diploma (College Degree Preferred)
