Manchester Early Learning Center (MELC) provides high-quality early education through our nationally accredited preschool program serving Manchester area families. Our center features 6 classrooms and partners with Manchester Public Schools to provide comprehensive services for children with diverse needs.
MELC is seeking a Head Teachers for our classroom. You'll implement The Creative Curriculum® in our nationally accredited program while managing daily operations for 16 preschoolers in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily classroom operations for 16 four-year-old children
- Create and implement age-appropriate learning experiences
- Maintain appropriate documentation and assessments
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership
- Participate in partnership activities with Manchester Public Schools

Qualifications
- Candidates without a Bachelor's Degree that includes 12 credits in early childhood education must be willing to complete at least 9 credits per year toward a degree in early childhood education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
